As a team, we wanted to create a game that felt deeper than a simple, one-dimensional experience. I was particularly passionate about crafting a narrative with meaning; something that used the medium to shed light on a topic often left unspoken. After storyboarding and exploring several ideas, I guided our group toward the theme of dementia.
Dementia is a single word, painful. Something that we hope never to face. Yet, I wanted our story to reflect not only the struggle but also the resilience and compassion that emerge through it; the way people continue to live, love, and connect with the help of others. Through this project, our aim was to bring greater awareness and empathy to a subject that deserves both.
